'Lifecycled'

For our new brief 'Lifecycled' we are to create either a 2D, 3D, craft, digital, fashion, ornament, sculpture or textile outcome. It has to be Lifecycled and will respond to Matthew Darbyshire's exploration of reappropiation, either through materials or ideas. 

We then had workshops with Andrea Zapp who is a media artist and is mostly known as a fashion designer. This is some of her work and an outcome from a quick activity we did with her.

After our workshop with Andrea Zapp we then went onto a workshop with Claire Norcross who is an award-winning designer specialising in lighting. She shown us some of her work and explained more of how the artist/ designer communicates with the manufacturer and the importance of detail needed. We then constructed one of her flat pack story lights. This is some of her work and the light we constructed.

We then went to Ferrious and explored the store and was told the history of Ferrious along with there most popular sales. This is some of the furniture that was at Ferrious.
