For my next stage of test pieces I decided to try out porcelain because of its delicacy and fragileness which works well with my concept but also to try something new and explore materials I haven't used that much in the past. In the making process I explored with scale, shape, prints/patterns using a variety of materials such as wallpaper. Some of these pieces can't be fired in the kilm due to falling apart and breaking into pieces because I may have used too much water on them. The result of them breaking into pieces was a great result as they looked even more delicate and seemed to go well with my concept. So although there was a mishap, it turned out to be something that could actually work better than my original idea.
