On Wednesday, 10/06/15 I started the process of making the skirt. I cut different sized triangles, which link to a few of Lucienne Day's patterns. I then sewed them together on the sewing machine but had the seam inside out so it's more edgy which is how I wanted it to be. I also put the bodice together, using the bodice pattern by sewing the wax paper on the sewing machine. The bodice looks great off the manikin when the light shines through it, so I'm considering hanging my dress up on the wires for the show, instead of having it on the manikin.
