On Tuesday, 09/06/15 I worked on different types of pleats like I had previously done but I did them with the wax and brusho paper I had already made. I liked the neatness of the line, using the pleats but it looked too much like a uniform or school skirt which wasn't the look I was going for. I wanted something more dynamic and unique. Instead I experimented with another technique that involved triangles to link to my primary research of Lucienne Day. I placed the wax shoulders petals onto the manikin too and will arrange them properly once the bodice and skirt are sewn and put together. I tested a wax collar out also, but from everything else that is going on, on the dress, it doesn't need a collar and looked better without it.
